** Στόχος της κυβέρνησης η συναίνεση
* Συναντήσεις ενημέρωσης με τους πολιτικούς αρχηγούς, με στόχο τη συναίνεση, προγραμματίζει ο πρωθυπουργός, Γιώργος Παπανδρέου, αμέσως μόλις το οικονομικό επιτελείο «κλείσει» με την τρόικα το μεσοπρόθεσμο σχέδιο.
** Αιματηρή ληστεία στα Κάτω Πατήσια
* Άγνωστοι άνδρες εισέβαλαν σε κοσμηματοπωλείο, στα Κάτω Πατήσια, ζήτησαν χρήματα και κοσμήματα από τον υπάλληλο και όταν εκείνος αντιστάθηκε, τον πυροβόλησαν τρεις φορές στο στήθος. Ο ίδιος νοσηλεύεται στο «Σωτηρία».
** Αποφυλακίζεται ο Ντομινίκ Στρος-Καν
* Εκτός φυλακής σε κατ' οίκον περιορισμό με καταβολή εγγύησης και με βραχιόλι ηλεκτρονικού εντοπισμού αποφάσισε την Πέμπτη το δικαστήριο να αφήσει τον πρώην διευθυντή του Διεθνούς Νομισματικού Ταμείου Ντομινίκ Στρος-Καν.
**Στον εισαγγελέα οι Αφγανοί για τη δολοφονία του 44χρονου
* Στον εισαγγελέα οδηγούνται σήμερα οι δύο Αφγανοί που συνελήφθησαν για τη δολοφονία του 44χρονου Μανώλη Καντάρη. Όπως έγινε γνωστό από την αστυνομία, πρόκειται για τρεις δράστες, ο ένας εκ των οποίων, υπήκοος Πακιστάν, αναζητείται.
** Από μέρα σε μέρα οι αποφάσεις για το "πακέτο" μέτρων
* Αγώνας ενάντια στο χρόνο σε δύο επίπεδα διεξάγεται από χθες στην κυβέρνηση. Το υπουργείο Οικονομικών επιχειρεί σε συνεχείς εσωτερικές συσκέψεις να οριστικοποιήσει το πακέτο μέτρων που θεωρείται ανεπαρκές από την τρόικα. Σε επίπεδο πρωθυπουργικού γραφείου αναζητείται το «κέλυφος» που θα καταστήσουν ανεκτά πολιτικά τα μέτρα, αλλά και η περίφημη συναίνεση με την αντιπολίτευση.
* Χθες η αναχώρηση του επικεφαλής του ΔΝΤ Πολ Τόμσεν για να ασχοληθεί με το Πορτογαλικό ζήτημα –όπως ανέφεραν αρμόδια στελέχη– συνδυάστηκε με διακοπή των διαπραγματεύσεων σε επίπεδο κορυφής με την τρόικα. Ζητήθηκε από την ελληνική κυβέρνηση να γεμίσει τα κενά που υπάρχουν στο νέο πακέτο μέτρων.
* Στόχος είναι να βρεθεί αποδεκτή λύση, το αργότερο έως την Κυριακή, για να ακολουθήσουν οι πολιτικές αποφάσεις. Το υπουργικό συμβούλιο που θα εγκρίνει τα μέτρα τοποθετείται χρονικά για την προσεχή Δευτέρα ή Τρίτη και στόχος της προετοιμασίας που γίνεται είναι να μην υπάρξουν ηχηρές αντιδράσεις. Εν συνεχεία συζητείται σειρά επαφών του Πρωθυπουργού με τους πολιτικούς αρχηγούς.
* Δεν έχει αποφασιστεί ποιος θα κάνει τις ανακοινώσεις, ενώ κυβερνητικά στελέχη αναζητούν ακόμη τον τρόπο παρουσίασης των μέτρων συνοδεία μίας ολοκληρωμένης πολιτικής πρότασης που θα διασφαλίζει ότι τα μέτρα θα εφαρμοσθούν.
* Στις μαραθώνιες και διαδοχικές συσκέψεις που είχαν χθες στο υπουργείο Οικονομικών όλοι οι αρμόδιοι παράγοντες έθεσαν επί τάπητος τα μεγάλα ανοικτά θέματα: τις αποκρατικοποιήσεις, την ανυπαρξία αναλυτικού προγραμματισμού περιστολής δαπανών από τα υπουργεία και την απουσία πολιτικής απόφασης για το θέμα του μισθολογίου αλλά και των απολύσεων - μετατάξεων και λουκέτου σε ΔΕΚΟ.
* Στο πεδίο των αποκρατικοποιήσεων φέρεται ο στόχος εύρεσης των 15 δισ. ευρώ να «μετακομίζει» χρονικά για το 2012, επιταχύνοντας τις αποφάσεις με έμφαση στις εισηγμένες εταιρείες. Η απόφαση μείωσης μισθών στον ΟΠΑΠ ερμηνεύθηκε ως δείγμα πρόθεσης για ανάλογες κινήσεις σε άλλες εταιρείες όπως ο ΟΤΕ, που θα κάμψουν τις αντιδράσεις των υποψήφιων αγοραστών. Η τρόικα ζητά σαφέστερο χρονοδιάγραμμα κινήσεων και αναλυτική αποτύπωση των κυβερνητικών προθέσεων.
* Έντονες ενστάσεις εκφράζονται για την εύρεση των επιπλέον 6 δισ. ευρώ το 2011. Εξετάστηκαν χθες από αρμόδια στελέχη και σενάρια αύξησης των εσόδων από φόρους. Επίσης, προωθείται η επίσπευση των μέτρων του 2012 για φέτος με στόχο την άμεση περικοπή δαπανών του δημοσίου.
* Στον αέρα βρίσκεται ακόμη και το θέμα των απολύσεων στο ευρύτερο δημόσιο, με έντονες διαφωνίες μεταξύ κορυφαίων υπουργών. Η τρόικα φέρεται δυσαρεστημένη για την ανυπαρξία αναλυτικού σχεδίου ανά υπουργείο και η κυβέρνηση παραπαίει ανάμεσα στο... καλό μισθολόγιο που προέβλεπε αυξήσεις για τους «αδικημένους» μισθωτούς και στο νέο σενάριο που προβλέπει περικοπές για όλους.-
** Επεισόδιο με πυροβολισμούς στον Έβρο
*Επεισόδιο με πυροβολισμούς σημειώθηκε νωρίτερα σήμερα στα ελληνοτουρκικά σύνορα στον Έβρο, σύμφωνα με δημοσίευμα του DefenceNet.gr, όταν μικτό ελληνογερμανικό αστυνομικό κλιμάκιο της Frontex δέχτηκε πυρά από Τούρκους δουλεμπόρους.
* Σύμφωνα με το ίδιο δημοσίευμα, ομάδα τεσσάρων Ελλήνων Αστυνομικών της συνοριακή φύλαξης και δύο Γερμανών της Frontex δέχτηκαν πυρά από Τούρκους δουλέμπορους στην νησίδα Αντάς η οποία βρίσκεται στην ελληνική περιοχή του Τυχερού.
* Όπως μεταδίδει το DefenceNet, «η νησίδα προσεγγίζεται από την τουρκική πλευρά μόνο με βάρκα, ενώ από την ελληνική είναι προσβάσιμη με τα πόδια λόγω της χαμηλής στάθμης του ποταμού. Το τελευταίο χρονικό διάστημα είχε διαπιστωθεί ότι οι Τούρκοι δουλέμποροι αποβίβαζαν με βάρκες του παράνομους μετανάστες στη νησίδα αυτή οι οποίοι συνέχιζαν την πορεία τους προς τις ελληνικές ακτές του Έβρου.
* Για το λόγο αυτό απεστάλη ομάδα της Frontex και Ελλήνων συνοριοφρουρών για να εμποδίσουν τις αποβιβάσεις των παράνομων μεταναστών. Το βράδυ της 19ης Μαΐου οι Τούρκοι δουλέμποροι προσπάθησαν να προσεγγίσουν την νησίδα χωρίς επιτυχία λόγω της παρουσίας των Ελλήνων και Γερμανών αστυνομικών. Την επομένη, δηλαδή σήμερα το πρωί, εμφανίστηκε στην περιοχή μία τουρκική βάρκα στην οποία επέβαιναν άνδρες οι οποίοι έφεραν οπλισμό».
* Στο ίδιο δημοσίευμα αναφέρεται ότι, «αρχικά, οι Τούρκοι μόλις είδαν την ελληνογερμανική αστυνομική δύναμη πυροβόλησαν στον αέρα για εκφοβισμό. Μετά όμως πυροβόλησαν με τις καραμπίνες τους κατά των ανδρών του ελληνογερμανικού αστυνομικού κλιμακίου χωρίς επιτυχία. Πάντως μέχρι στιγμής δεν έχει γίνει γνωστό αν υπήρξε ανταπόδοση των πυρών από το ελληνογερμανικό αστυνομικό κλιμάκιο.
* Σχεδόν άμεσα ενημερώθηκε για το περιστατικό ο Τουρκικός Στρατός, ο οποίος έστειλε μία ομάδα στρατιωτών στην περιοχή. Μόλις εμφανίστηκαν οι Τούρκοι στρατιώτες ένας Γερμανός άνδρας της Frontex ανασηκώθηκε για να τους χαιρετήσει, και δέχτηκε πυροβολισμό πιθανότητα από ένα από τους δουλεμπόρους που είχαν εντοπιστεί νωρίτερα και ο οποίος προφανώς παρέμεινε κρυμμένος στην περιοχή.
* Πάντως δεν έχει αποκλειστεί και το ενδεχόμενο ο πυροβολισμός να προήλθε από Τούρκο στρατιώτη, μετά από άνωθεν εντολή». - Πηγή:www.capital.gr
** Αποδείξεις: Οι εφορίες επιστρέφουν πίσω τους φακέλους
* Μια ακόμα έκπληξη περιμένει χιλιάδες φορολογουμένους, οι οποίοι προσέρχονται στις εφορίες για να υποβάλουν τη φορολογική τους δήλωση. Οι μισθωτοί και συνταξιούχοι, οι οποίοι έχουν συγκεντρώσει εκατοντάδες αποδείξεις από καταναλωτικές τους δαπάνες, ώστε να καλύψουν το υπόλοιπο μισό του αφορολόγητου ορίου, καταθέτουν το φάκελο με τα μαγικά χαρτάκια, μαζί με το έντυπο Ε1. Οι οδηγίες από το υπουργείο οικονομικών προς τους εφοριακούς είναι ξεκάθαρες:
* Παραλαμβάνετε το φάκελο, τον κρατάτε στο γραφείο σας μέχρι να γίνει δειγματοληπτικός έλεγχος και – όταν ολοκληρωθεί αυτός – τον οδηγείτε στην ανακύκλωση. Όπως είχε επισημάνει το Capitaltax, όταν είχαν δοθεί στη δημοσιότητα αυτές οι οδηγίες, η διαδικασία αυτή βάζει σε πειρασμό πολλούς φορολογουμένους να δηλώσουν ποσά μεγαλύτερα από αυτά, που πραγματικά έχουν συγκεντρώσει σε αποδείξεις, αφού – αν δεν είναι στο δείγμα - δεν πρόκειται να ελεγχθούν ποτέ ξανά. Τι συμβαίνει στην πράξη;
* Σε πάρα πολλές Δ.Ο.Υ., οι εφοριακοί – κατά την παραλαβή της δήλωσης – αποδέχονται το ποσό των δαπανών, που αναγράφουν στο έντυπο οι φορολογούμενοι, αλλά αρνούνται να παραλάβουν το φάκελο με τις αποδείξεις. «Κρατείστε τον στο σπίτι και, σε περίπτωση που είστε στο δείγμα για έλεγχο, θα σας ζητηθεί να τον προσκομίσετε», είναι η απάντηση που δίνουν στους υπόχρεους, σε αντίθεση με τις οδηγίες του υπουργείου.
* Αυτό, πάντως, συμβαίνει γιατί είναι εξαιρετικά δύσκολο, έως αδύνατο σε κάποιες περιπτώσεις, οι εφορίες να φυλάξουν όλο αυτό τον όγκο φακέλων μέχρι να γίνει ο δειγματοληπτικός έλεγχος. Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι, όπως είχαμε μεταδώσει από τον περασμένο Αύγουστο (βλ. «Στροφή 180 μοιρών για τη συλλογή αποδείξεων»), στην Καραγιώργη Σερβίας οι αρμόδιοι υπηρεσιακοί παράγοντες είχαν διαπιστώσει εγκαίρως ότι ο μηχανισμός των εφοριών αδυνατεί να παραλάβει και να διαχειριστεί όλα αυτά τα στοιχεία και πρότειναν τη μη υποβολή των αποδείξεων στις εφορίες και τη διακράτησή τους από τους φορολογούμενους κατ΄ οίκον. Η ηγεσία του υπουργείου δεν άκουσε τις ενστάσεις των στελεχών του, με αποτέλεσμα οι υπάλληλοι των Δ.Ο.Υ. να κάνουν από μόνοι τους πράξη την απορριφθείσα πρόταση!
* Εκτός και αν αυτό γίνεται, ώστε οι φορολογούμενοι – έχοντας τις αποδείξεις στο σπίτι τους – να πρέπει να τις διακρατήσουν για μεγαλύτερο διάστημα, πέραν της ολοκλήρωσης του ελέγχου του δείγματος. Έτσι, η εφορία θα έχει τη δυνατότητα να τους ελέγξει οποιαδήποτε άλλη στιγμή, ακόμα και αν δεν βρίσκονται στο δείγμα, αφού τα χαρτάκια δεν θα έχουν ανακυκλωθεί.- nectarios.notis@capital.gr , Πηγή:www.capital.gr-
** Επίσκεψη Γ.Παπανδρέου στο Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Άργους
* To Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο του Άργους επισκέφθηκε πριν από λίγη ώρα ο πρωθυπουργός Γιώργος Α. Παπανδρέου, ευρισκόμενος καθ' οδόν προς το Ναύπλιο, όπου σε λίγη ώρα θα προεδρεύσει σύσκεψης με τοπικούς φορείς.
* Στην επίσκεψή του στην Αργολίδα ο κ. Παπανδρέου συνοδεύεται από τον υπουργό Πολιτισμού Παύλο Γερουλάνο και τον υφυπουργό Περιβάλλοντος Γιάννη Μανιάτη.
* Στη διάρκεια της ξενάγησής του στο αρχαιολογικό μουσείο, η υπεύθυνη αρχαιολόγος Άλκηστις Παπαδημητρίου, ανέφερε στον κ. Παπανδρέου πως είναι ανάγκη να αναδειχθούν οι αρχαιότητες της περιοχής, συνδυάζοντας την επισκεψιμότητα του μουσείου και την τουριστική ανάπτυξη της περιοχής.
* Όπως ανέφερε ο κ. Παπαδημητρίου η περιοχή έχει πάρα πολύ αρχαία ιστορία, γεμάτη από αρχαιολογικά ευρήματα, ενώ χαρακτηριστικά ανέφερε στον κ. Παπανδρέου την ανακάλυψη πινακίδων του 4ου π.Χ. αιώνα, όπου υπήρχαν λεπτομερέστατες καταγραφές διαχειριστών του δημοσίου χρήματος.
* Η ιδιοκτήτρια του Αρχαιολογικού Μουσείου ανέφερε επίσης αν και η οικονομική συγκυρία είναι εξαιρετικά δυσχερής, ωστόσο υπάρχει η δυνατότητα για μεμονωμένες δράσεις γύρω από τους αρχαιολογικούς χώρους, όπως ο καθαρισμός, η περίφραση, η σήμανση και η οδική πρόσβαση, δράσεις οι οποίες θα τους αναδείξουν περαιτέρω.
* Τέλος, ο πρωθυπουργός, ο οποίος και υπέγραψε στο βιβλίο επισκεπτών του Μουσείου, ανέφερε μεταξύ άλλων ο πολιτισμός αποτελεί κυρίαρχο στοιχείο τόσο οικονομικής ανάπτυξης όσο και ανάδειξης της ιδιαίτερης ταυτότητας μιας περιοχής.
** Ψηφίστηκε το νομοσχέδιο για την Ηλεκτρονική Διακυβέρνηση
* Ψηφίστηκε κατ’ άρθρον κατά πλειοψηφία στην Ολομέλεια το νομοσχέδιο του υπουργείου Εσωτερικών για την Ηλεκτρονική Διακυβέρνηση.
* Αν και επί της αρχής όλα τα κόμματα της αντιπολίτευσης καταψήφισαν το νομοσχέδιο, επί των άρθρων ψηφίστηκαν επιμέρους διατάξεις με ευρύτερες πλειοψηφίες, όπως το βασικό άρθρο για την αύξηση των ωρών εργασίας στο Δημόσιο από τις 37,5 στις 40 που υπερψηφίστηκε και από τη ΝΔ και τον ΛΑΟΣ.
* «Για μας είναι θέμα αρχής και έτσι υπερασπιζόμαστε τη ρύθμιση», είπε ο υπουργός Εσωτερικών Γιάννης Ραγκούσης, υπογραμμίζοντας ότι «η αύξηση αυτή του ωραρίου ισοδυναμεί με ένα παραγόμενο έργο που για να αποδοθεί θα έπρεπε να προσληφθούν 46.000 εργαζόμενοι».

Αν και επισήμως δεν έχουμε ενημερωθεί για το αποτέλεσμα του έργου της Επιτροπής Απογραφής στο Δήμο Τριφυλίας, ωστόσο πληθαίνουν οι πληροφορίες μας για τεράστια «μαύρη» τρύπα, από χρέη και οφειλές των προηγούμενων Δημοτικών Αρχών της περιοχής… Κακά μαντάτα μάς έρχονται με την Απογραφή;

«Χαμένος αγώνας είναι αυτός που δε γίνεται, δε δίδεται!» λέει το σύνθημα, με το οποίο συμφωνώ, και το συνυπογράφω. Όμως, ο αγώνας πρέπει να γίνεται και να δίδεται, μαζικά και δυναμικά, έγκαιρα, όταν πρέπει! Αγώνας εκ των υστέρων εξυπηρετεί επικοινωνιακά τερτίπια για λαϊκή κατανάλωση και μόνο…
* Άλλο ευχάριστος και άλλο χρήσιμος!
Οι πολιτικοί, οι αυτοδιοικητικοί και οι λοιποί που ασκούν κάθε είδους και μορφής εξουσία, γοητευμένοι προφανώς από αυτή και «θρονιασμένοι» αναπαυτικά στην καρέκλα, είτε συνειδητά (που το πιστεύω ακράδαντα για τους περισσότερους) είτε ασυνείδητα και ασυναίσθητα, αποφεύγουν όπως ο διάολος το λιβάνι να κοιτάξουν κατάματα τους πολίτες και να τους πουν την αλήθεια… Όποια και αν είναι αυτή, όσο πικρή κι επώδυνη μπορεί να είναι. Αρέσκονται να λένε ότι θέλουν να ακούσουν οι πολίτες, για να τους είναι ευχάριστοι και ας είναι η ζωή, των πολιτών, δύσκολη και δυσάρεστη. Όμως, στην εποχή που διανύουμε, δε θέλουμε τους ασκούντες την εξουσία ευχάριστους, αλλά χρήσιμους! Υπάρχουν; Ναι! Και ας μας δυσαρεστούν, έστω και στιγμιαία, πρόσκαιρα!
* Υπαίθριο μουσείο
Η χθεσινή Ημέρα Μουσείων ήταν μια καλή ευκαιρία να θυμηθούμε ότι στην Καλαμάτα διαθέτουμε ένα από τα πιο ενδιαφέροντα υπαίθρια μουσεία στη χώρα. Στο Πάρκο Σιδηροδρόμων εκτίθενται μόνιμα συρμοί από την ιστορία του ΟΣΕ, όλο το χρόνο, χωρίς εισιτήριο, σε έναν από τους πιο όμορφους δημόσιους χώρους της πόλης.
* Ποτέ δεν ξέρεις…
«Τι έγινε; Άρχισαν την ανάπλαση;» άκουσα ηλικιωμένο να ρωτά, βλέποντας τους εργάτες του Δήμου να τοποθετούν μπασκέτες και φιλέ βόλεϊ στην πλατεία, για τον τελικό Δημοτικών Σχολείων.

* Βραβείο Προσφοράς στο Βιβλίο (προς τιμήν του ιδρυτή του περιοδικού, Περικλή Αθανασόπουλου) δόθηκε στο Ινστιτούτο Νεοελληνικών Σπουδών - Ίδρυμα Μανόλη Τριανταφυλλίδη για τη μακρόχρονη συμβολή του στα ελληνικά γράμματα.
* Στην προχθεσινή τελετή βράβευσης μάθαμε όμως και για την αλλαγή «στέγης», μετά από 35 χρόνια, του καλού λογοτεχνικού περιοδικού. Στο εξής θα ανήκει στην οικογένεια Βασίλη Καρακουλάκη, ανακοίνωσε ο διευθυντής του «Διαβάζω» Γιάννης Μπασκόζος, χωρίς να αλλάξει τη φυσιογνωμία του.
* Υπονοούμενα Μισθού για τη μεταφορά μαθητών
Από τους πιο δαπανηρούς νομούς στη μεταφορά των μαθητών χαρακτήρισε τη Μεσσηνία ο περιφερειακός διευθυντής εκπαίδευσης Πέτρος Μισθός, αφήνοντας μάλιστα υπονοούμενα σχετικά:
* «Ο νομός σας ήταν από τους πιο δαπανηρούς στις μετακινήσεις. Εάν μπείτε στην ιστοσελίδα μου, πάνω πάνω θα δείτε για τις μετακινήσεις των μαθητών μια επίσημη έρευνα, που έχει κάνει το Ινστιτούτο Μεταφορών. Σας προκαλώ να ανοίξετε την ιστοσελίδα και να δείτε το κόστος ανά μαθητή που υπήρχε στη Μεσσηνία. Αναρωτιέμαι γιατί;» είπε σε χθεσινή συνέντευξη Τύπου ο κ. Μισθός, ενώ πρόσθεσε: «Είδα ένα πολύ υψηλό κόστος. Χρήζει πραγματικά δημοσιογραφικής έρευνας να δείτε τις συμβάσεις». Όταν ρωτήθηκε εάν υπάρχει παρατυπία, απάντησε: «Δεν μπορώ να το ξέρω εγώ αυτό, δεν τον κάνει η Εκπαίδευση το διαγωνισμό, αλλά η Νομαρχία. Μπορεί να σας απαντήσει ο αρμόδιος αντιπεριφερειάρχης».
* Σύμφωνα δε με την ιστοσελίδα, το κόστος μεταφοράς ανά μαθητή στη Μεσσηνία ήταν περίπου 1.600 ευρώ, όταν το όριο ήταν στα 500.
* Σύγχυση με το ΠΟΠ
Σύγχυση έχουν πάθει οι εκπρόσωποι των αγροτικών συλλόγων της Τριφυλίας, με τις ανακοινώσεις του υπουργείου Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης και της Περιφέρειας Πελοποννήσου για την επέκταση του ΠΟΠ «Καλαμάτα» στο ελαιόλαδο.
Όπως μάς έλεγαν χθες, άλλα συμφωνήθηκαν στη σύσκεψη που έγινε προχθές στο υπουργείο και άλλα έλεγαν οι επίσημες ανακοινώσεις που εστάλησαν στα Μέσα Ενημέρωσης. Παραγωγός, ο οποίος συμμετείχε στη σύσκεψη, σχολίασε: «Αν δεν ήταν και άλλοι συνάδελφοι μέσα να μου επιβεβαιώσουν αυτά που είχα ακούσει, θα ήμουν τώρα στο ψυχιατρείο».
* Επιδημία
Διαστάσεις… επιδημίας τείνει να πάρει η φιλανθρωπία σ’ αυτή τη χώρα. Η στήριξη μιας κοινωνίας με ανισότητες, όπου οι έχοντες βοηθάνε τους κακόμοιρους φτωχούς, ενισχύεται όλο και περισσότερο τώρα με την κρίση.
Αντί να το πετάξεις στα σκουπίδια, δώσ’ το στο συνάνθρωπό σου.
* Δουλειά Σαββατοκύριακου
Δουλειά για το σπίτι πήραν οι δικαστές του Τριμελούς Εφετείου Κακουργημάτων, αφού χθες δύο σοβαρές υποθέσεις τούς προβλημάτισαν και θα χρειασθεί περισσότερος χρόνος για τη μελέτη τους.
Έτσι, οι αποφάσεις και για τις δύο θα εκδοθούν το μεσημέρι της Δευτέρας.
Αυτά είναι τα τυχερά του επαγγέλματος!
* Ταχύτατη εξυπηρέτηση στη ΔΟΥ
Ταχύτατη ήταν χθες η εξυπηρέτηση των πολιτών στη ΔΟΥ Καλαμάτας για την απόκτηση του κλειδάριθμου. Όπως μας ενημέρωσε φορολογούμενος, παρά το γεγονός ότι ο κόσμος ήταν αρκετός, δεν υπήρχε καθυστέρηση και γκρίνιες.
Έτσι, για να γράφουμε και τα καλά!
* Έχει καθυστερήσει
Το Τμήμα Μεταγωγών περιμένουν εναγωνίως στην Αστυνομική Διεύθυνση Μεσσηνίας, μπας και γλυτώσουν οι υπόλοιποι αστυνομικοί από τα «πήγαινε- έλα» με τους κρατούμενους.
Η ίδρυσή του, αν και έχει ανακοινωθεί από πέρυσι, έχει καθυστερήσει. Ας ελπίσουμε, ωστόσο, ότι πλησιάζει.
* Το… πριμ του ποδηλατόδρομου
Στους καιρούς που ζούμε, τα όρια μεταξύ νομιμότητας και ηθικής έχουν ξεχειλώσει επικίνδυνα. Όπως και να δει κανείς, όμως, το θέμα, η απόφαση του γενικού γραμματέα Αποκεντρωμένης Διοίκησης να δοθεί το πριμ των 50.000 ευρώ στον εργολάβο που έχει αναλάβει την κατασκευή του ποδηλατόδρομου είναι τουλάχιστον παράδοξη.
Και αλλοίμονο, μην ισχυριστεί κανείς ότι το… λάθος είναι της Αποκεντρωμένης Διοίκησης. Η ευθύνη ανήκει ακέραια στην προηγούμενη και σημερινή Δημοτική Αρχή Καλαμάτας.
Εξηγούμεθα, όμως, για να μην παρεξηγούμεθα. Όπως είχε ανακοινωθεί από την πρώτη στιγμή του διαγωνισμού, η εταιρεία που θα ολοκλήρωνε το έργο σε συγκεκριμένο χρονικό διάστημα (αν θυμόμαστε καλά μέχρι το τέλος του 2009, αρχές 2010), θα έπαιρνε «μπόνους» καλής εργασίας 50.000 ευρώ. Η κατασκευή του ποδηλατόδρομου, όμως, για διάφορους λόγους μέχρι σήμερα δεν έχει ολοκληρωθεί, ωστόσο ο εργολάβος θα πάρει τα χρήματα!
Όταν ο επικεφαλής της «Ανθρώπινης και Όμορφης Πόλης» Β. Κοσμόπουλος έλεγε στην αίθουσα του Δημοτικού Συμβουλίου Καλαμάτας ότι, παρά τις διαβεβαιώσεις περί του αντιθέτου του δημάρχου και στελεχών της Δημοτικής Αρχής, το «πριμ» θα δοθεί τελικά, αφού η Δημοτική Αρχή το είχε συμπεριλάβει στον τακτοποιητικό πίνακα που είχε φτιάξει για την πληρωμή των εργασιών, μόνο… τρελό δεν τον έβγαλαν δήμαρχοι και λοιποί.
Μάλιστα, από το συγκεκριμένο τακτοποιητικό πίνακα, ενώ είχε όλες τις απαραίτητες υπογραφές, έλειπε, κατά παράδοξο τρόπο, αυτή του διευθυντή των Τεχνικών Υπηρεσιών Βασ. Τζαμουράνη! Φαίνεται κάτι παραπάνω ήξερε ο συγκεκριμένος υπάλληλος.
Κι έτσι φτάσαμε εδώ που φτάσαμε. Για να μην κρυβόμαστε πίσω από το δάχτυλό μας και τις λέξεις, θεωρούμε ότι το συγκεκριμένο… λάθος/παράλειψη/ολιγωρία από την πλευρά της Δημοτικής Αρχής ήταν λίγο –πολύ εσκεμμένο.
Και είναι κρίμα άνθρωποι που δικαιώνονται – ακόμα και εκ των υστέρων - τώρα να ιδιωτεύουν και άλλοι…
* Προκαλούν την αισθητική μας…
Αν κάποιος έπρεπε να καταγγέλλει τις δύο «μεγάλες» φοιτητικές παρατάξεις, κατά κύριο λόγο, για… βανδαλισμούς, αυτοί κανονικά θα έπρεπε να είμαστε εμείς. Οι υπόλοιποι πολίτες, δηλαδή, που βλέπουν ορισμένους να… βιάζουν κατ’ εξακολούθηση την αισθητική μας. Και το φοβερότερο είναι ότι κάποιοι από αυτούς τους νέους και νέες της ΔΑΠ και της ΠΑΣΠ αύριο θα μας κυβερνήσουν! Εκτός και αν συμβεί κάποιο θαύμα και ξυπνήσουμε…
Επ’ ευκαιρία, ας σημειώσουμε και τις διαμαρτυρίες που δεχθήκαμε για την ηχορύπανση, επί συνεχείς ημέρες, πρωί- βράδυ, λόγω των φοιτητικών εκλογών!
* Οι αναταραχές στη Συρία δεν προβλέπεται όμως να είναι το τέλος σε αυτή την παρατεταμένη επαναστατική δραστηριότητα στον αραβικό κόσμο. Αντίθετα οι παραπάνω εξελίξεις αναμένεται να αποτελέσουν καταλυτικό παράγοντα για κάτι που εδώ και αρκετά χρόνια «ψιθυρίζεται» μέσα από εκθέσεις και πορίσματα διαφόρων οργανισμών και ινστιτούτων του εξωτερικού: του διαμελισμού της Τουρκίας και της δημιουργίας [...]

People tend to be happier if they possess a more efficient version of a gene which regulates the transport of serotonin in the brain, a new study has shown. The findings, published today in the Journal of Human Genetics, are the first to show a direct link between a specific genetic condition and a person's happiness, as measured by their satisfaction with life. http://venitism.blogspot.com/
This research led by behavioural economist Jan-Emmanuel De Neve, of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), examined genetic data from more than 2,500 participants in the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health (a representative population sample in the US). In particular, it looked at which functional variant of the 5-HTT gene they possess.
The 5-HTT gene, which provides the operating code for serotonin transporters in our neuron cell walls, has a variation (or allele) which can be either long or short. The long allele is more efficient, resulting in increased gene expression and thus more serotonin transporters in the cell membrane. Inheriting the gene from both parents, each of us will have a genotype which can be long-long, short-short or a combination of the two alleles.
The study compared the subject's genetic type with their answer to the question "How satisfied are you with your life as a whole?" – to which they could give one of five possible answers: very satisfied, satisfied, dissatisfied, very dissatisfied or neither.
The results showed that a much higher proportion of those with the efficient (long-long) version of the gene were either very satisfied (35 per cent) or satisfied (34 per cent) with their life – compared to 19 per cent in both categories for those with the less efficient (short-short) form. Conversely, 26 per cent of those with the short-short allele were dissatisfied, compared to only 20 per cent of those with the long-long variant. http://venitism.blogspot.com/
The study showed that possessing one long allele increases the likelihood of being very satisfied with life by 8.5 per cent as compared to having no long alleles of the 5-HTT gene. For two long alleles, the average likelihood of being very satisfied with life rose by 17 per cent in the study population.

"The results of our study suggest a strong link between happiness and this functional variation in the 5-HTT gene. Of course, our well-being isn't determined by this one gene – other genes and especially experience throughout the course of life will continue to explain the majority of variation in individual happiness. But this finding helps to explain why we each have a unique baseline level of happiness and why some people tend to be naturally happier than others, and that's in no small part due to our individual genetic make-up."

The new Indian rules require Internet companies to withdraw offensive content – including content that is obscene, harassing, libellous, hateful, harms minors or infringes copyright – within 36 hours of being notified by the authorities or risk prosecution. Social networks and Internet access providers must state that such content is banned in their terms of services.

There has been strong criticism of the Indian rules from the companies affected. The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) says they will hamper the development of social network in India. It might harm freedom of speech on the Internet."
A Google spokesman told Reporters Without Borders: "We believe that a free and open Internet is essential for the growth of digital economy and safeguarding freedom of expression. The regulatory framework should ideally help protect Internet platforms and people's abilities to access information."
The government rejected the criticism on 11 May, insisting that it remained "fully committed to freedom of speech and expression and the citizen's rights."
From now on, Indian Internet cafe operators will have to keep a copy of each client's identity document for a year. They will also have to photograph their clients and keep their web browsing history from each visit. This data will have to be sent to the government each month.

We saw how unwise policies had an impact. Some policies that countries enacted with the hope of mitigating the crisis, such as export bans on rice, only made matters worse. They spurred panic buying and hoarding, which made rice unaffordable from East Asia to West Africa to the Caribbean. They also undermined countries' broader food security by discouraging farmers from increasing production. Rising food prices can have a positive effect if they send a signal to farmers to grow and sell more. **RE NULLIFICATION IS OUR RIGHT
Thank you. I've noticed that constitutional law scholars seldom know little more thanvarious Supreme Court rulings, which really aren't that important. TheConstitution itself is a very clearly written document, it doesn't requireinterpretation. What you do need is knowledge and understanding about whatthe Founders intended. That is why historians know more about theConstitution than law scholars do. The fact that Woods and DiLorenzo arehistorians, not lawyers, are a point in their favor, as is the fact thatthey are connected to Ludwig von Mises Institute. Considering that they had just fought a war to secede from the BritishEmpire, and that even New England states considered secession (New York Cityeven considered seceding from New York State), it was clear to everyone thatthe States were allowed to secede if they so wished. After all, they hadentered a *voluntary* union on their own conditions, so naturally they couldleave whenever they wished. If secession was perfectly legal, it stands toreason that nullification was well within the purview of the States. Notonly that, if the Federal government tried to enact and enforce and *unconstitutional* law, it was the *duty *of the States to nullify it. TheStates' first obligation was to protect their own citizens againstunconstitutional overreach by Washington. Both secession and nullificationwas openly discussed and the latter used several times up until the War toprevent Southern Independence. As it was employed by both Northern andSouthern states depending on the situation, the claim that it is a"political slogan" is utterly preposterous and shows a stunning ignorance ofone of the most important aspects of US history. In addition, if the Federal government enacts an *unconstitutional law*, orviolate the Constitution in any other way, it is clear that the States musttake action to ensure that Feds are reined in. The whole point of theConstitution is to limit the Federal government, so how anyone can arguethat the States would not be allowed to nullify unconstitutional laws iscompletely beyond me. Perhaps you as a Constitutional law scholar canexplain that to me. The number of powers allocated to the Federal government are *not* many. Itis a very limited number and the scope of each power is in itself verylimited indeed. Again, the Founders had just fought a revolutionary waragainst a totalitarian state. They were adherents of Natural Law. Theywanted a *limited *government, not a Leviathan. In other words, the UnitedStates of America, according to your logic, existed before the States whichwere United existed. Well, that is indeed a lawyer's logic, and the perfectexample of why historians are the authorities on the Constitution, notlawyers. I'm not ignoring anything, I'm making the obvious point that a Union ofanything, be it individuals, companies or States, *cannot precede themembers of the Union. The members create the Union, and the States createdthe United States and its Federal government. * I'm not trying to make a Constitutional argument for nullification. My pointis that the Principals (i.e. the States) are superior to their Agent (theFederal government). They have agreed to give up some specific, particularpowers to the Federal government, but all others are retained by them. Ifthe Agent steps outside the framework laid out by the Principals, thePrincipals have the right and in this case even the duty to keep the Agentin check. This should be particularly clear to a lawyer. It should also beclear to a lawyer that you don't allow one contracting party to be the onlyand final arbiter of the contract, because it will always rule in its ownfavor. The courts, particularly the Supreme Court, are part of the Federalgovernment. Jefferson knew that. He knew that if the SC were allowed to bethe final arbiter, it would rubber stamp most if not all transgressions ofthe Federal government. Even the most cursory look at the SC rulings provesJefferson right, rendering the SC virtually irrelevant. A horrifying thoughtfor a lawyer surely, but the SC's failure to strike down the the Federalincome tax and the Federal Reserve System alone is enough to disqualify itfrom further discussion. Andrew Jackson made that point excellently in the1830s. "The "right" of states to nullify laws has never attained legitimacy forone reason: if you grant states that right, you'll have anarchy andyou'll likely have civil war." This is perhaps the most typical *zombie* argument of them all. No one hasclaimed that the States can nullify *constitutional laws. *They don't,because they've signed a contract binding them to obey *constitutional* laws.That is the point of the supremacy clause. However, if the law is *unconstitutional*, they can and must nullify it. If they did not have thatright, it means that the Federal government can't do whatever it wants,regardless of what the Constitution says, which makes the whole Constitutionnull and void. This discussion has very little, if anything, to do with law. So take offyour lawyer's hat and look at the history, particularly what was said in thevarious ratifying conventions like Virginia's. Article 19 Organization(A19) is a London-based human rights organization with a specific mandate and focus on the defense and promotion of freedom of expression and freedom of information worldwide. A19 takes its name from Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which states that everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; the right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media regardless of frontiers.
A19 points out free speech, media and information flows increasingly ignore and elude physical frontiers or national boundaries. Many governments, especially Greece, fearful of this lack of control, are trying hard to restore or fortify barriers to trace, block, target and censor those who champion the truth.
Superinjunctions as a serious threat to the right to freedom of expression should be prohibited. A19 believes that the imposition of superinjunctions constitutes a serious threat to both freedom of speech and democracy. It constitutes an extreme form of censorship which should not be tolerated by the British democracy.
Today, Lord Neuberger, the Master of the Rolls, is expected to make public the report of the committee set up to examine the use by the courts of media injunctions. The committee will also consider the question of superinjunctions, which prevent not only the reporting of a story but the existence of the injunction and any details contained in it, including the name of the person or company seeking the injunction.
In the context of freedom of media, an injunction is a court order that prohibits media from publishing certain information or continuing to do so, or face civil or criminal penalties. Where applied prior to publication, injunctions are a form of prior censorship and as such are an extreme restriction on freedom of expression. If the authorities are able to suppress publications which nobody has seen, it becomes impossible for others to verify whether the suppression was indeed justified; such an unchecked power can be abused to prevent criticism of government or other power entities such as corporations.
Under the American Convention on Human Rights (Article 13 para 2), prior censorship is explicitly prohibited, with the exception of the moral protection of children and adolescents. In Martorell v. Chile, the American Court for Human Rights stated that even abusive exercises of freedom of expression, including invasions of privacy and defamation, may not be the subject of prior censorship.
The European Court for Human Rights does not entirely rule out all prior censorship but imposes strict limits on its use. In the UK, there has been recently a considerable debate over the imposition by judges of superinjunctions.
Superinjunctions are an extreme version of prior censorship: they are gagging orders that not only prohibit the publication of details of a case but even that a case exists and that an order suppressing it publication has been issued. This measure has mostly been used in the context of cases about the release of information about an individual's personal life but also other cases involving dubious activities by companies. A19 believes that superinjunctions are illegitimate limits to freedom of expression and that they should be prohibited.-
Instances disproportionately limiting freedom of the media and freedom of expression include the superinjunction obtained by Trafigura a company trading in oil, base metals and other items, which prevented the publication of a report on alleged dumping of toxic waste in the Ivory Coast, and subsequent debate over reporting of Parliamentary Questions relating to that report.
